    About Montana Matters

    What is the Montana Matters Youth Outdoor Experience? Beginning in 2013, local hunting and conservation organizations saw a need to provide support and access to both outdoor education and outdoor experiences. Coming together the Youth Outdoor Experience (formerly Youth Expo) was born. Since then, hundreds of children and teens have attended camps throughout Montana at no charge.

    Learning about such topics as backpacking, trap shooting, archery, wildlife conservation, fly fishing, and much, much more, these youth will become the leaders of tomorrow. Already, we have had youth return to serve as camp counselors and mentors to younger campers. Join us in supporting this great cause and help us provide more hunting, fishing, and outdoor experiences for Montana youth at Montana Camps!

    We are an educational outreach program born from MCE

     Montana Conservation Elders envisions a robust constituency of young people involved in conservation in our state. These future defenders of our rivers and wildlife must be the citizen activists who vote, donate to, and actively get involved in protecting and maintaining our public lands.
