Join us for an exciting and educational day at the Whittecar Youth Shooting Event, designed to introduce youth to the fundamentals of shooting sports in a safe and supportive environment.

2025 Event Dates:

• Group 1: Saturday, June 15th | 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM
   
• Group 2: Saturday, August 17th | 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM
   

Important Information:

• Ages: Youth must be at least 12 years old to participate.
   
• Arrival Time: Please arrive no later than 8:45 AM.
   
• Safety First: A mandatory safety meeting will take place at the beginning of the event. A parent or guardian must attend this meeting to sign a release form.
   
• Lunch: Participants must bring their own lunch.
   
• Pickup Time: Youth should be picked up between 2:00 and 3:00 PM.
   
• Cancellations: If your child is unable to attend, please notify us at least one week in advance.
   
• Confirmation: If you reach our answering machine when calling, please leave a message and we will call back to confirm as soon as possible.

The Mule Deer Foundation has gone above and beyond in their support—not only promoting youth involvement in wildlife conservation and ethical hunting but also donating firearms to help equip our young participants for success. The Montana Conservation Elders contribute their knowledge, experience, and support to help educate the next generation of responsible shooters. Additionally, the Ravalli County Fish and Wildlife Association has been a longtime advocate for youth education and conservation efforts in our community. Together, these partners supply everything from ammunition and equipment to hands-on volunteer support, helping us create a safe, educational, and memorable experience for all involved.
